We’ve updated our Privacy Policy to make it easier to read and understand, and to reflect some minor changes in how we use your information. Read the updated Privacy Policy.

BCN Privacy Collection Statement

BCN is committed to protecting your privacy. We are bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and comply with our obligations under the Australian Privacy Principles.

This is a collection statement in relation to the activities in the dropdown menu.  It provides notice of matters relevant to each specific activity (in the dropdown boxes), followed by notice of matters relevant to all activities (below the dropdown menu).

To understand how your personal information will be handled you should read the contents of this collection statement including the dropdown boxes relevant to you. If you are a child you should read the BCN Privacy Collection Statement (for young people). You may also wish to read this collection statement and discuss it with your parent or guardian.

Depending on the circumstances of collection, it may be possible for you to provide information to the BCN in a pseudonymous way so that your identity is not revealed. For example, you may wish to sign up for an BCN Account by using an email address that does not include your name and by providing a nickname rather than your actual name. The same applies in relation to any profiles you create on BCN.

In some circumstances however this may not be practicable, for example where a person must disclose their identity before being granted entry to the BCN studio as an audience member.

Further information about our privacy practices, including in relation to children, may be found in our Privacy Policy.

We collect, hold, use and disclose your personal information when you:

We may disclose personal information about you to third party service providers such as technology service providers, security service providers, BCN online store fulfilment partners, delivery service providers, marketing and promotions service providers and analytics service providers.

We require that our service providers have appropriate controls to protect your personal information and that they only use your personal information for authorised purposes.

Some of our third party service providers have servers located overseas including in New Zealand, Singapore, the UK, the Netherlands, Ireland, Israel, India, Canada and the USA.

You don’t have to give us all the information we ask you to provide, but this may limit how we interact with you, and which services we can provide.

You have a right to access any personal information we hold and may ask us to update or correct your personal information. For more information on how you can access your personal information or contact us with any questions or privacy related complaints, please see our Privacy Policy.
