Kicking off in May 2024, this program is part of a hefty $11 million Training and Workforce Development initiative aimed at charging up the industry.
Stan Krpan, the big boss at Solar Victoria, is calling all eligible electricians and apprentices to jump on this free training express.
With slots for 400 participants, it’s a golden ticket to becoming a solar PV and battery storage whiz. Since its launch in March 2022, over 767 tradespeople have already boosted their skills at no cost.
Whether you’re in Melbourne or hanging out in regional Victoria, there are spots all over, including NECA, Holmesglen Institute, and several TAFEs.
Not just for electricians, there’s even a line-up for plumbers ready to master solar hot water systems.
So, gear up to join the ranks of more than 1,000 installers sparking change across the state.
